Verbier 4 Vallées newsletter  - 23/10/2020

Dear Customers, Dear Partners,

Ever since the beginning of the COVID-19 public crisis, Téléverbier has been paying careful attention to the situation’s national and international evolution.

“Clean & Safe” Label

As is the case with the entire surrounding region, our company has respected and carefully applied the sanitary measures advised by the government. We have rendered mandatory the use of masks in lifts, we have placed hand sanitizer in strategic points and ground markings in the base-stations and cash desks to help our customers respect social distancing. Therefore, thanks to the efforts of our staff, we have obtained the “Clean & Safe” label from Suisse Tourisme.

 Investment Continuation

As announced in Spring, our company has continued its investment program despite having to close the resort on March 13, 2020. The greatest accomplishments of this summer were the Mont-Fort zipline, the replenishment of the Grand-Tsay ski lift and the extension of the snow-making system in La Tzoumaz.

Towards a capacity restriction-free opening

This upcoming winter, unless otherwise instructed, Téléverbier will open its ski resort as per usual, as soon as the snow conditions permit it, all the while guaranteeing the safety of our staff. There is, to this day, no lift/skier capacity-limitation for the resort. However, new measures may be put in place, depending on the evolution of the government’s guidelines. The use of masks in lifts will, however, remain mandatory in the lifts.

Our staff is doing its best to develop plans and protocols aiming to limit the spread of COVID-19. We are working on these rules so we can meet the requirements and offer you an excellent stay and experience in our resort for the upcoming winter season!

Reimbursement under specific conditions

In our “general sale conditions”, we have included a “pandemic” clause, to assure the possibility of a reimbursement in the case of new government-imposed isolating measures, such as a quarantine, confinement, resort closure, etc.

Same as you, I cannot wait to be back on the slopes of our wonderful resort. These unprecedented times will keep on giving us new challenges until there is a medical breakthrough. Until then, we must all be patient, safe and responsible to preserve each and everyone’s health.

I look forward to seeing you on our slopes !
